Background and Working Philosophy
My interest in talking therapies evolved through my initial training as a nurse and health visitor. I have always, fundamentally, held the belief that health is not simply about physical well being alone and after completing various trainings in other complementary therapies began to appreciate that my strengths lay in communication.
My work is informed by my learning and experience as both a therapist and mindfulness practitioner; facilitating the exploration, influence and effect, as necessary, of our story and past as well as attending to our experience as it arises in the present moment.

My work as a group facilitator has included the setting up and facilitation of personal development groups, specific themed groups and counsellor supervision groups both privately, within the NHS and the University of Cambridge Staff Counselling Service
My work as a Mindfulness trainer has been with both groups and individuals. Creating and leading workshops that focus both on the underpinning philosophy of Mindfulness and on the cultivation of mindful awarenesss.
